Transpower announces changes to Executive Leadership Team

Transpower New Zealand Limited (Transpower) today announces the appointment of Chantelle Bramley to the role of Executive General Manager, Operations. Chantelle is currently GM Strategy and Customer and Acting GM Grid Development at Transpower. Additionally, a new role - Executive General Manager Future Grid will be established with responsibility for Transpower's Net Zero Grid Pathways 2 programme (which is focused on the grid post 2035). This role will have a broad perspective of the New Zealand power system to play its role in enabling our energy transition. John Clarke (currently Acting GM Operations) is appointed to this new role. John's substantive role of GM Grid Development will be revised and renamed Executive General Manager Grid Planning. An internal and external recruitment process will commence for this role in late February. Once an appointment has been made to this position, John Clarke will take up his new role as EGM Future Grid. In the meantime, John will return to his role as GM Grid Development. The existing role of GM Strategy and Customer will be disestablished, and its responsibilities divided between other members of the executive leadership team.
